Multi-payouts

Overview

Multi-payouts is a model designed for a closed group of sellers operating under one shared URL, where the customer pays once, but the funds are split automatically between multiple legal entities each with their own unique seller accounts. Multi-payouts are also available for one merchant who has unique needs for distributing his funds to multiple payout accounts.

Key characteristics:

  • Hierarchy: there is always a Lead entity and one or more Additional entities.
  • Single checkout experience: the buyer does not see the internal payment split.
  • Automatic split of funds: split is performed by Paynow based on the lead entity’s instruction.
  • Optional internal commission: Paynow can technically deduct and pass through a commission from additional entities to the lead entity (e.g., for platform maintenance), based on the lead entity’s data and authorizations.
  • Refunds via API: refunds are initiated via the lead entity’s API access.
